Yaman Gensan 2012 opens

The 10th Yaman Gensan (YG) was finally opened last June 20, 2012 at Robinson's Place Gensan. With the theme, "Negosyong Palaguin, Biyayang Kalikasan Pagyamanin", this month long celebration (started in June 20-July 21) brings opputunities to our Entrepreneurs in General Santos City and nearby towns.
This event helps "promote, coordinate and facilitate the development of micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (mSME) in General Santos City." YG means "Yabong Maliit na Negosyo sa Gensan" and this event is celebrated every third week of June to third week of July annually.
The program was opened by Mayor Darlene Magnolia Antonino-Custodio. This event conduct training, seminars, fairs, and forums to those entrepreneurs who are interested to prosper their business.
The YG is spearheaded by General Santos City Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council Inc. (GSC SMEDCI), in partnership with the City Economic Management and Cooperative Development Office (CEMCDO), the Gensan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GSCCI), the Department of Industry (DTI) XII, the PhilExport, and the local media.
