The Art of James Capisinio

James Capisinio has a degree in Computer Graphics and Animation.
His passion in Graphic Art makes him unique in his own way.

Graphic art is a type of Fine art that covers a broad range of art forms. "It is typically a two-dimensional and this art includes Calligraphy, Photography, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Lithography, Typography, Serigraphy (silkscreen painting) and Bindery. It is also consists of drawn plans and layouts for interior and architectural designs" (1). Graphic Art is as old as time, which started from Ancient Egyptians in their hieroglyphics up to this computer age. This kind of art has a unique position in the art world. You cannot shun its influence especially in the field of pop culture. As a Graphic artist, you become a gatekeeper who could influence your audience (whether for good or for bad).

I have admired countless Graphic artists that exist today (and even the previous one). Whether international or in the local scene, I become an instant fan if their art has a significant impact to my life. One of the promising local Graphic artists I have met is James Capisinio, the protagonist behind the name superduperjames. He specializes in Corporate Identity, Webdesign, Print design, and Brand Development. He has also magnificent shots in Photography.

His career started when he was still a student back in 2008. It started from a simple job of volunteering. Because of his amazing outputs and his passion for Graphic art, he become an instant celebrity. He becomes in demand to his clients (local & he is gaining favorable interest in international scene) that tagged him as one of the best Graphic Artists in General National City.

These are some of his works.

He is not greed about his knowledge in graphic Art. He shares it to others especially to his fellow Graphic artists. His experience as Instructor at ACLC College-GenSan implies that he is willing to share his knowledge to those who are willing to learn. The best advice he gives to his students and aspiring Graphic artists is practice. "If you love your craft, practice it until you become a pundit. Do not limit yourself on what you can do. if you find your niche, stick with it." "And don't forget to share your knowledge to others. And learn to respect and appreciate them, vice versa", he adds.

He is planning to work at one of the leading media companies in the Philippines. He wants to experience working with other artists in the industry. He also wants to create a feature length animation film in the future.

Meeting this kind of people helps me a lot. I have learned so much from them. A graphic artist like James is one of a kind. I am sure he has a long way to go in his career.

"Stay passionate! Trust in God and believe in yourself, and the rest will follow."
