GSC-SMEDCI conducts the 4th MSME Regional Congress



   The General Santos City Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council Inc. (GSC SMEDCI) organized the 4th MSME Regional Congress and Exhibit last June 8-10, 2017 held at the SM City GenSan Trade Hall 1. This Congress had its theme: “Developing Relevant MSMEs in Region 12”. Various micro, small and medium enterprises group participated the event. 

   This year’s MSME Congress emphasized topics on Innovation and Strategies for resilient MSMEs, Financing program, doing secured online business, how to make MSME financially independent and the like.



   The MSME Congress is still consistent in their goal of working towards the development of the small enterprise sector into a highly skilled and competent industrial base with the potential for increasing value added products for both local and export markets. Just like last year’s Congress, the outcome and discussion will be set of recommendations aimed to help the entrepreneurs of Region XII. The event served a platform for dialogue between communities, entrepreneurs, including representatives from MSMES and business environment institutions, local government and government agencies.
